Building Smarter for a Better Future
At John Paul Construction, ‘Building Smarter for a Better Future’ means strengthening our capacity to deliver meaningful and lasting change. Over the coming years, we will continue to develop our sustainability function, build the knowledge and capabilities of our people, and embed sustainability more deeply across our business, projects, and supply chain.
Our ambitions include achieving validated science-based targets towards Net Zero, transitioning our operations and vehicle fleet towards cleaner energy, and establishing independently certified systems for energy and carbon management. We are also committed to reducing carbon, waste, and water intensity, strengthening supply chain ESG performance, supporting greater gender balance, investing in communities, and improving the transparency and external assurance of our sustainability reporting.
Together, these actions will support substantial reductions in JPC’s Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2033 and help us create lasting value for our clients, people, communities, and the environment.
Sustainability Strategy 2030
Our Sustainability Strategy 2030 sets out a clear, structured pathway to deliver on our sustainability vision through four integrated pillars, reflecting both who we are and the future we are working to create.
It is underpinned by a set of defined, measurable group targets, KPIs and initiatives, each with clear ownership. These targets align with internationally recognised frameworks and reflect our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
